2. How can I make my Magento installation mobile-friendly?
2.1 I want to ensure my current theme is mobile-friendly.
Magento makes it easy to preview, customize and activate the mobile theme in
its Admin panel settings (Admin panel> Design > Themes Editor > Preview). More

Check if the theme or customization you are currently using is mobile-friendly.

If you are using Google Chrome,
there is a “mobile device emulation” feature in Chrome Developer Tools. These
tools are found under the Chrome menu View > Developer > Developer Tools.
Visit the Device
to learn about the emulation feature.
If the theme has a Responsive design, a simple test is to narrow the desktop
window to mobile device size. These types of themes aim to be viewable to any
desktop and mobile browser by changing behavior depending on the size of the
viewport (typically, this is the width of the browser). Note that this won’t
work if your chosen theme changes depending on the user agent of the visiting
browser, so you still may need a mobile device to be safe.
It’s also a good idea to check themes with our PageSpeed Insights
tool. A high score
with this tool is a good sign that your chosen theme will work well with mobile
